RD1004C: Applying Functional Coatings Inline and Reliably
With the new RD1004C rotary nozzle, Plasmatreat presents a solution for the precise application of functional coatings to plastic surfaces and profiles. The nozzle enables the uniform application of environmentally friendly bonding agent layers directly during the production process.
This nozzle from the Openair-Plasma® portfolio creates high-performance surfaces for subsequent bonding processes. This allows adhesion properties to be specifically improved and reproducible results to be achieved even with complex geometries.
Openair-Plasma® helps reduce the use of traditional chemical pretreatments or even replace them entirely in select applications. This makes it possible to design processes that are more resource-efficient and reduce the consumption of primers or other adhesion promoters.
The technology is particularly well-suited for continuous manufacturing processes and applications where high-quality requirements must be combined with cost-effective production.
